Wrangling Words In Virtual Spaces

你好.
    Hello.

Joseph Lew (b.2000, Melbourne, lives and works in Melbourne) is a curator of words, using language as a vector for inspiration, empowerment, curiosity and connection. Drawing from his experiences growing up in a culturally and linguistically diverse immigrant household, his work explores concepts of authenticity, identity and belonging.

With an emphasis on culture and lifestyle, his words have been published in VICE, MTV Australia, The New York Times Style Magazine, Netflix and more. He has also applied his expertise to other ventures, serving as the Managing Editor of Monash University’s student-run publication Esperanto Magazine, conducting research for the VICE Extremes podcast, and serving as the Culture Editor at Netflix ANZ where he produced a bi-weekly column. He is currently the Social Media Editor at Private Media.
